There is a Starbucks on every block in this area but this one is convenient to the subway gates. Lots of comfortable seats.

Nice and open space. Efficient service

Good atmosphere and the staff is fast. There's no time policy, so patrons treat it like a computer lab and stay all day; you have to wait a long time to find a pair of open seats.

Large shop with Japanese touch

Located exactly at the corner of the street, so that easily can get street view from many angles of seats. Good place for work, read, and resting for a moment

Very relaxing space. So packed at this hour-Saturday 9pm. Wondering people in Kyoto don't have many nightlife choices?

Its a Starbucks.....Always busy as we passed it most days on the way to the subway. The "white Christmas" promo flavoured products were pretty good.

Nice place, with Starbucks Reserve counter. Always fantastic treatment and nice time observing the whole ceremony of the Reserve coffees brewing.The bad part is that is always a bit crowded, but the site is big. Nice WiFi connection when I was working from there.

Really nice Starbucks. We came around 10 am and they had lots of bakery and sandwich options. The staff was nice and prompt and we all enjoyed the food and drinks we ordered. Probably the best thing about the place is it is wide open with lots of seating. Many of the coffee houses in Japan have smaller seating areas that can feel cramped.

A comfortable and well situated location. Despite its proximity to central Kyoto, there is usually at least some free seating. Bathroom was pleasantly clean.

Plenty of seating. Modern design. Includes Starbucks Reserve coffees and option of the Clover. Lots of natural light because it's on a main street corner. Open late. Lots of laptops out.

One of the better designed Starbucks I’ve seen, good window counter seating and quite a few customers on their laptops. It gets quite busy so expect the employees to ask you to leave if you’re overstaying your visit (which I found quite rude)

This was just around the corner from our hotel so we went here for breakfast every morning (the banana granola was very tasty). Staff are bilingual (or at least speak enough English for me to get by with English and my rudimentary Japanese). As with all the people we came into contact with, staff are really sweet and lovely. It was packed all the time (we walked past it almost every day) as most locals seem to do work/homework there, but we worked out that the done thing was to put your bag at a table first, then order your food and coffee (this goes for every similar eatery in Japan - find a seat first!)

Only place in Kyoto city with nitro.

Please try the strawberry donut. It's delicious!!!

Super friendly staff

This Starbucks is a super nice one. The menu is slightly different than America, but you can still get most of the same things. This was also one of the few places where my partner and I interacted with an employee who speak fluent english. The whole staff was very kind and the store was clean.

Ok for work or study, but if you're in a group of more than two it can be hard to find a suitable spot to sit and chat. This branch is very much set up for the work/study crowd.

Several Starbucks in the area... But this one there was always nice people in and close to our hotel. Good coffee, drinks, and breakfast items.
